Privacy
The short version: we count visits and taps as anonymous daily totals so Sultan Satire can see which ads and links work. We don't run ad pixels or keep visitor profiles.
What we count
Page views, taps on streaming and social links, and whether the embedded player on this site started or reached 30 seconds. Each is added to a daily total together with the page, the song and the service tapped.
If you arrived from an ad link, the campaign tags in that link (the five utm_… fields) are counted with it. Tags that look like an email, a web address or a phone number are replaced with “(redacted)”; other tag text is stored as given, so we can't promise a tag never contains something personal — that depends on whoever wrote the link.
What we don't store
No IP addresses, device or browser details, cookies, account IDs or visitor IDs are saved with these counts. The site keeps the ad tags in your browser tab's session storage only until the tab is closed, so a later tap can be credited to the same ad.
To slow down abuse, the server keeps a scrambled, non-reversible key of the connecting address in temporary server-instance memory only. It is cleared on the first request after its one-minute limit window ends, or when that server instance shuts down, and it is never written to a database or log.
Visits aren't counted at all if your browser sends Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control.
Outside services
Streaming buttons take you to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music or Amazon Music — their own privacy policies apply there.
Videos and the “play it right here” player come from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you tap play. Once loaded, YouTube (Google) processes data under its own policy. Video preview images are loaded from YouTube's image servers.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and cover art and the artist photo are loaded from Apple's and Spotify's image servers, which means those services receive standard web requests from your browser.
Owner sign-in
A private sign-in exists only for the site owner to view the totals. Signing in uses an email address (or Google) and a session stored in that browser. Visitors never need an account.
